Side 1: Recordings made 10/30-31 & 11/1 1974, and Philip K Dick's apartment in Fullerton, California. The recordings were for a Rolling Stone Magazine profile. They were also used by Williams in his publication of Only Apparently Real. Side 2: Edited recordings of Philip K Dick probably during August 1974. Dictated notes on his novel-in-progress. Original tape was titled "Valisystem". The book he was working on was a sequel to The Man In the High Castle. The sequel was never written, but evolved into Radio Free Albemuth and Valis. The notes on the sequel, along with the tape recordings, also evolved into the Exegesis. This is an original unheard tape in case with publisher printed insert. The case & insert are free of flaws. The insert shows light yellowing, but I believe it's due to the stock used, not age. Science Fiction Case $25.00 Place Order
